How to come to us
The D4 has excellent traffic and public transport connections: thanks to the connection to the national Motorways A2 and A4/A14, the proximity to Zurich Airport (1 hour), regular public transport (bus and train) connections and our own Root D4 railway station with an industrial rail connection.
On Foot
It’s only two minutes from the Root D4 Railway Station or the D4 Oberfeld bus stop. The registration desk is located in the main building at D4 Platz 3. By train from Zurich Airport, Zurich, Bern, Basle, Geneva and Lucerne at thirty-minute intervals:
Interregio (IR) or Intercity (IC) to Lucerne, Zug or Rotkreuz and regional trains (REG) from Lucerne, Zug or Rotkreuz to the Root D4 train stop.
By Bus
From Lucerne’s Main Railway Station at fifteen-minute intervals:
With bus No. 23 in the direction of Gisikon to the D4 Oberfeld bus stop (travelling time approx. 20 minutes)..
By Car
Use Motorway A14, from Zurich to Lucerne, exit at Gisikon-Root, Kantonsstrasse in the direction of Lucerne, then 3 km to Root D4. Plenty of parking available.
